Welcome to my blog!
I created it to inspire you to make healthier choices. I'm here to help you cook up a healthier, more productive life starting today.
Is this blog for you?
Do
you dream of sitting down to delicious home-made meals that are easy to
prepare, that won't pack on pounds, or leave you feeling guilty? Do you
make the effort to buy fresh vegetables and fruits only to later find
them rotting in the refrigerator? Would you like to eliminate food
waste and save money by using up everything you buy? Would you like to
reduce air pollution and oil dependence, recycle more money into your
community, support family farmers, promote environmental
sustainability, and enjoy fresher, better tasting, more nutritious food?
It’s
easier than you think. I’ll show you how to eat more fresh,
minimally-processed, and locally produced food, how to make more
purchases from local farmers, farmers' markets, and food co-ops and how
to fill in with foods from natural foods stores.
Don’t worry
if you don’t consider yourself a great cook. My easy-to-follow
instructions will guide you through the basics and beyond. With my help
you can learn how to make mouth-watering meals with bold flavors that
naturally nourish your body. From appetizers to entrées and from side
dishes to desserts, you can experience healthy food that tastes
phenomenal.
I have a practical and easy plan for making the
meals you could only dream of until now. And I will gladly share it
with you along with family-friendly recipes and resources to make
shopping, cooking, and eating for health a way of life rather than a
now-and-then occurrence. If you keep coming back, I promise I will keep
you supplied with new ideas and recipes.
I’ll show you how to
make tradeoffs with big payoffs that will save you time and money.
You’ll enjoy healthy food more than ever and have more energy for
everything you want to do in your life. So, what are you waiting for? Let's start cooking!
In health and gratitude,
Chef Rachel

Rachel,
What a great idea! I see sangria on more and more menus these days--the alcoholic one, of course. But perhaps you could do a training workshop with restaurants to teach them how to make this drink as well. It sounds so refreshing...and healthy.
Thanks for the ideas on sugar substitutes. I needed that!
All my best,
Jackie Dishner
